Reminder of State and School Policy regarding illness
New York State Department of Health Updates: Flu Amendment Announcement SLCD TownStudents at SLCD Glen Cove create a virtual town, here is the video: SLCD Hosts 'Town Day'. The SLCD town was a huge success. We were thrilled to have Mayor Suozzi of Glen Cove, Mr. Michael Christodolou, Mrs. Georgiana Reese-Benatti, Ms. Norma Giacalone, and Mrs. Andrea Sorrentino experience this exciting event. The entire school became a town with a jewelry store, ices shop, book store, dollar store, restaurant, flower shop, movie theater, and lemonade stand. It was a wonderful learning experience for our students. Here are some of the pictures. Financial LiteracyMr. Craig Hubmeier, Assistant Vice President from Cross County Federal Savings Bank, spoke to our 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students concerning the importance of saving money. Our Glen Cove students learned a lot from this wonderful workshop.
