Community Habilitation

Tiegerman Community Services (TCS) provides Community Habilitation Services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. TCS provides individually tailored supports that assist with skills related to living in the community. These supports include adaptive skill development; assistance with activities of daily living; community inclusion and relationship building; training and support for independence in travel; transportation; adult educational supports; development of social skills, leisure skills, self-advocacy and informed choice skills; and appropriate behavior development to help the individual access his or her community.  We utilize a 1:1 person centered approach that enables the individual to access their community and the supports that are available to the individual in their natural environment.  Community Habilitation plans are based on the interests and needs of the individual served and developed by their support team to assist with achieving his/her goals.

In order to qualify for this program you must receive approval from the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.
